Perry Leach Obituary (1948 – 2022) – Marked Tree, AR

Perry Andrew Leach, 74, of Clarksville, Arkansas departed this life on Friday July 1, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1948 in Sisterville, West Virginia to Lester and Dorothy Gorrell Leach.
Perry was a graduate of Sistersville High School in 1966 and a graduate of West Virginia University in 1971. Perry participated in the ROTC program while at the university and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Air Defense Artillery unit. He retired from the Army with the rank of captain. Immediately after graduation from college he was appointed as the principal of Sistersville Elementary School, WV. After relocating to Arkansas, he was appointed the National Director of Marketing for Crown Rotational
Molded products in Marked Tree AR, where he served in this capacity for many years. During his lifetime, he was also a member of the Parkersburg, West Memphis, Clarksville and Marked Tree Country Clubs. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion and an honorary member of the VFW in Vienna, WV. Perry was an active member of the National Rifle Association and US Golf Association. He was a very strong supporter and member of the Republican Party. He lived in Bogota, South America for many years and was fluent in Spanish. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ
of West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister: Beverly Kelly.
Perry is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years: Diane Kent Leach of the home, one son: Andrew Leach (Jennifer) of Arlington, Virginia, two daughters: Diana Corman (Tommy) of Jackson, Tennessee and Carla Hudson (Brandon) of Flippin, Arkansas, four brothers: Ken Leach (Ann) of Columbus, South Carolina, Ron Leach (Sally) of Williamstown, West Virginia, Don Leach of Wexford Pennsylvania and Alan Leach (Cathy) of Greensboro, North Carolina, one brother- in-law: Jim Kelly of Vienna, West Virginia, Seven grandchildren: Christina Leach, Bailey Leach, Audry Corman, Lydia Corman, Sam Corman, Kirk Knapp, II, and Madison Caviness (Dillion), two great grandchildren: Mallary Caviness and Drake Caviness.
Funeral services will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm and visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Interment will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Brother Rick Kimery will officiate the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
