An Ohio contractor has been fined an additional $228,126 and cited one repeat safety violation, two willful violations, and one serious violation for allegedly exposing workers to fall hazards at a job site in Akron, Ohio, the US Labor Department said Wednesday.
Inspectors with the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration found two employees of Benny Troyer Roofing and Trail Roofing LLC working at heights of up to 20 feet above the ground without adequate fall protection while Troyer was on-site, the department said.
