Minot roofing company offering reward for info on stolen, burned truck

Minot roofing company Jessen Roofing Inc. is offering a cash award of US $ 2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the person who stole and set fire to a company car.

On Thursday, the company posted on Facebook that its 2008 blue double-cab Dodge pickup truck was stolen that morning. On Saturday, Jessen Roofing reported that they found the truck completely burned by sand and gravel near 37th Street in Sundre.

Employee Doni Jessen says someone saw the smoldering this morning and alerted the police. Minot Police took DNA smears from the door handle and other potential evidence.

Jessen says he has no evidence of a suspect yet, but could soon increase the reward to $ 5,000 if more information comes out soon.

He says the same truck was stolen from a construction site about seven or eight years ago, and he plans to install cameras in the shop.

Jessen has asked anyone with information to call 701-833-4758 or call the Ward County Sheriff’s Department.
