Mary Kinnicutt Obituary (1927 – 2023) – Watervliet, NY – Albany Times Union

Kinnicutt, Mary Bonnie
MENANDS – Mary Bonnie Kinnicutt, 95, passed into eternal life on January 23, 2023.
Born in Boston on December 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Emelda LaBelle of Montreal. Bonnie was a family-first woman who always put others ahead of herself and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her loved ones. She was as intelligent as she was kind as she was fluent in French as well as English. Bonnie was also hard-working and dedicated to the business ventures she started with her husband which included tree services, plowing, and Kinnicutt Bus Inc. She volunteered much of her time as a member of the Menands Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Watervliet Elks, and as one of the original founders of the Menands St. Patrick’s Club. In her free time, she enjoyed going bowling, cooking, knitting and crocheting, playing cards, going shopping, going to the movies, horseback riding, skiing, camping in the Adirondacks, gardening, and spending time at their summer home in Lake George and Warners Lake. She was also a world traveler who went to Spain, Costa Rica, Mexico, and on many cruises, just to name a few.
Bonnie is survived by her three children, Kevin (Barbara) Kinnicutt of Menands, G. Laurie Kinnicutt of Loudonville, and Donna Kenny of Menands; her grandchildren, Sara (Jason) Lang, Andrew (Susan) Kinnicutt, Matthew (Jerry) Gibson, Michelle Duclos, Paul (Jes) Duclos, and Adam Kenny; her great-grandchildren; Max, Jack, Sam, Wyatt, Aurora, and Guinevere; her brother, Arthur (Joan) LaBelle of Delmar; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Howard Kinnicutt, who passed away in 2005.
Family and friends are invited to visit with Bonnie’s family on Friday, January 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cummings Funeral Home, 643 Third Ave., Watervliet. A funeral will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with entombment to follow in the St. Agnes Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bonnie’s love for animals, those who wish to remember Bonnie in a special way may consider a donation to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY, 12204.
