Franklin awards bids to renovate HVAC system at high school

At Monday night’s business meeting, the Franklin Area School District awarded bids to two companies to renovate the HVAC system at the high school.

The bid for the main portion of the renovation was awarded to Scobell Company, Inc., of Erie, in the amount of $1,271,000, and the electrical portion of the renovation was awarded to Blackhawk Neff, Inc., of New Castle, in the amount of $127,100.
